Roseland Park welcomes thousands of visitors every year from near and far. Many visit loved ones, while some come to experience the historic and peaceful nature of the Park. At over a century-old, this cemetery holds much of the history of the local area within its borders.
Founded in 1906, Roseland Park features 133 acres with an abundance of beautiful trees and serves as a sanctuary for a wide variety of wildlife. The Cemetery is located in Berkley, on the northwest corner of Woodward Avenue & 12 Mile Road and stretches west to Coolidge Highway. Bordering Royal Oak on the north and east, the Cemetery sits in the heart of the Woodward Corridor which connects from Detroit to Pontiac.
The clock tower of the historic National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, located across Woodward, has summoned the hour since its construction in 1936. A rich history and strong reputation as one of Metro-Detroit's most visited cemeteries ensures Roseland Park Cemetery will be here for centuries to come.
